Two features exist to answer the question every busy user has: what happened while I wasn't looking? What's New answers it broadly; Favorites answers it for the records you personally care about.

What's New

What's New shows changes across everything you can see, filtered by a date range you pick — this morning, since last Friday, the two weeks you were away. Choose the range and the view assembles what was created and changed inside it, newest first.

Tip

Back from time off? Set the range to your absence and work top to bottom. It beats scrolling every module hoping to notice differences.

Like every list in the application, What's New is permission-filtered: it shows changes to records you're entitled to see, and nothing else. Two teammates with the same date range can legitimately see different results.

Favorites

Any record can be favorited. Your favorites list is yours — name each entry what you like, drag them into your own order, and pin the few you live in so they stay on top.

Following changes

A favorite can do more than bookmark: turn on change tracking for one and you'll be notified when it changes, without visiting it. You control the rhythm per favorite — how often you're told (daily digest by default, so a busy record becomes one summary instead of a drip of pings) and through which channel (email by default).

Note

If a favorite disappears from your list, your access to that record changed — favorites only show records you can currently see. The bookmark isn't lost; it returns if access does. Ask your administrator if it's unexpected.

Using them together

A rhythm that works: favorites with tracking for the handful of records you're accountable for, and a weekly What's New pass over a seven-day range for everything else. Between the two, nothing important happens quietly.
